Residents at the Riverview Lutheran Rest Home in Loxton who have been participating in this initiative, are successfully using their Vegepods to grow fresh produce that in turn is ending up in their kitchen to cook with as well. Riverview Rest Home CEO, Nicolle Jachmann joined Matt to chat about some of the benefits of this exciting project, that we’ve been proud to create with the support of SUEZ Australia & New Zealand.

Through the supply and installation of Vegepod Units and starter kits, the Raised Garden Bed Project has been created for our members to easily participate in, with either an edible garden to encourage and promote the use of fresh fruit and vegetables, or as a sensory garden providing overall wellbeing for all those involved, directly or indirectly with the gardens.

We’re excited about the positive impact this project is already having at various member’s facilities and work places and we look forward to making it available to more members in the new year.
