To celebrate the great work our support services staff in the healthcare industry do `day in day out` the Institute of Hospitality in Health Care Ltd  (IHHC) is committed to establishing a National Recognition day.
Whether you work in our public or private, acute and/or residential care homes the Hospitality Workers in Health Care Day will allow businesses to take the time to recognise the contribution their employees make in this challenging industry.
The IHHC recognise that hospitality support staff work tirelessly behind the scenes in health settings to provide nutritional tasty meals that meet a range of preferences, dietary requirements and cultural needs, maintain clean, fresh and hygienic environments and provide laundry services in a timely and efficient manner.
So please join us on March the 6^th 2019 and celebrate Hospitality Workers in Health Care Day!
You can participate by displaying in your workplace the Hospitality Workers in Health Care Day posters that have been developed – they are available for download from the IHHC website
Some ideas for celebrating at your business are:

• Hosting a morning or afternoon tea for staff
• BBQ lunch
• Introduce a Hospitality Staff Award
• Certificates of appreciation for staff
