About Us

Supporting Charities Since 1976

As a not for profit organisation ourselves, CCI understands the pressures the sector faces – and has been helping our members deliver value since we first began operating.

In 1974, Kelvin Dickens, an employee of the Adelaide Central Methodist Mission, realised that Aldersgate Village, with its 400+ residents was able to purchase supplies at considerably better prices than Lentara Children’s Homes with its 60 children in residence.

This early discovery led to the formation of a purchasing group, where the organisation negotiated purchases on behalf of the group’s members.

Group purchasing ensured that all of the not for profits involved benefited, and were better able to increase their buying power, and therefore the impact they had in the community.

Ever since this early breakthrough, CCI have been dedicated to helping the not for profit sector achieve its goals.

This dedication to the not for profit sector has seen CCI grow to a national footprint with hundreds of members spread across Australia.

The range of group purchasing opportunities has also grown, allowing members to further increase their level of savings, become more efficient and reduce their purchasing risks.

CCI will continue to focus our efforts on delivering great outcomes for our members and expanding the number of goods and services on offer to our members.

Positive Impact

As our membership grows, so does the impact that the unified CCI membership can make on accessing value for goods and services needed for the communities our members serve.

CCI membership is low cost, comes with no lock-in contracts and can normally pay for itself within one month of joining. So become a member today to discover just how much you can save, and how this can help drive your organisation’s impact even further.
